Lunch & Learn at The Hearth

Lunch & Learn is a regular event at the Hearth and is designed to allow members and guests to share their knowledge, experience, and insight with other members of our community. It's about knowledge sharing, learning, supporting and connecting. Topics covered have ranged from business and networking, fashion styling, mental health, sex and relationships, and spirituality. There are no set guidelines for the topic, most importantly it should be interesting and authentic!


Format:

  • Short talk/presentation sessions circa 30 minutes followed by a Q&A

  • Total session <60 mins

  • Takes place on Wednesdays @ 1pm in The Hearth Lounge.

  • Often presenters use slides however this is not mandatory

  • People can join in real life as well as online on Zoom.

Requirements to take part in a L&L

  • All speakers must bring at least 5 female guests of their own to the session.

  • Speakers must market the event to their own databases, social media followings and communities.

  • Share any materials used during the session so we can share it with our community and those who could not attend

  • Consent to be recorded – we will share recording with you

  • A supportive audience! Opportunity to trial and get feedback on your topic

  • Chance to promote your service to people and let people know about you, follow you, etc.

  • Chance to meet like-minded people, form new connections, and collaborate

  • We will promote you internally with printed posters, on our SLACK community channel, and externally via Instagram

  • We will post on our insta stories on the Monday before your session  & Post stories during/after your session

  • We will share the recording with you so you can use it for your promos

  • We will gift a half day trial for your guests for the day of the session or for their next visit

  • We will gift you half day pass to work on the day

  • We will create an event jpg for promotion and for you to share.

Promoting yourself and your business:

  • We embrace entrepreneurs and businesswomen who may showcase a particular product or service within L&L however in no circumstances Lunch & Learn to be primarily a selling tool/ hard sell. You may share an exclusive reward/promotion/incentive for L&L attendees at the end of the session, or mention about your new course/product, etc upcoming, it works really well when members get a VIP offer.
