About The Event
Everyone knows what it means to feel triggered, anxious, reactive, on edge. But fewer of us know the opposite: The glimmer.
Glimmers are micro moments that tell the body “I’m safe”. A kind glance, the first sip of tea, light through the trees, raindrops on your face. They’re how we return to balance, belonging and ourselves.
A glimmer may feel like a little moment of magic, but it’s actually a physical response that is rooted in your body’s nervous system, with the power to improve your mood, mental health and overall wellbeing.
Join wellness pioneers Nadia Narain & Katia Narain Phillips as they bring together practices inspired by their training and experiences of nervous system healing, offering women an accessible way to understand their nervous system, recover from stress and reconnect to joy and self-trust.
From Nadia and Katia’s gentle guidance, you will leave with:
An understanding of why so many of us live in ‘survival mode’, caught in cycles of constantly ‘doing’
A new understanding of how movement, breathwork and reflection can help us to regulate in times of stress
A toolkit of grounding practical somatic exercises that you can use at any time
A felt sense of safety, connectedness and calm confidence — grounded in the knowledge that emotional flexibility is the foundation of resilience
Drawing on the science and somatic practices from their upcoming book, Glimmers, this workshop will reframe nervous system regulation in simple, practical language that will help women to live and lead from a place of safety, connection and authenticity.
