Why The Hearth?
We founded The Hearth on the solid basis of our long-lasting friendship. We have seen each other through half a life time and have between us, that real, loving and accepting energy where we know we can come for a hug, a laugh, a tip, a moan or a push. We have each other’s best interest at heart and we would love the Hearth to provide the same for you.
Purpose
Women need a space to focus on themselves. One where they can be supported on their personal journeys. The Hearth is a space for you to expand, re-centre or just be – whatever feels right to you.

Community
The Hearth is a place for women to come together and make their own, we welcome the book clubs and coffee catch ups, power meetings and partnerships. It’s a place for new connections and perspectives, old friendships and shared wisdom.
Inspiration
‘The Heat Of The Hearth’ is an Anthropology textbook by Janet Carsten who spent 3 decades studying women in a Malayan fishing village. She found that kinship wasn’t defined at birth but rather solidified over a lifetime of shared experiences between women who lived, fed, birthed and nourished in each other’s houses.
