About Sadee
Sadee Akhtar is a clinical aromatherapist and founder of Essentially Sadee. Her scent science approach moves aromatherapy beyond generic blends, offering a more considered approach grounded in plant chemistry, safety, personalisation, and the way scent works with the whole person.
Clinical aromatherapy is a whole-body experience, shaped by the brain, breath, nervous system, skin, memory, emotion, and plant chemistry. This is why Sadee’s work begins with the person in front of her: how they feel, what they are carrying, what they are drawn to, and what kind of support they need in daily life.
Her training in Professional Essential Oils Therapy included specialist study in essential oil chemistry, therapeutic formulation, safety, contraindications, and plant-based formulation. Her knowledge of more than 130 plant oils allows her to create considered aromatic protocols shaped by each client’s needs, preferences, safety profile, and desired outcome.
Before becoming a clinical aromatherapist, Sadee spent more than 15 years as a technology leader working in high-pressure environments. This gives her a grounded understanding of stress, decision fatigue, responsibility, and the hidden load many people carry while continuing to lead, build, care, and show up for others.
At The Hearth, Sadee offers guided scent experiences, focused consultations, and specialist consultations for deeper more complex wellbeing management.
