About This Event

✨ A Body Positive Vulva Casting Workshop @ The Hearth ✨

Join us for a deeply affirming evening of connecting with and tuning into your body and self in the safe, welcoming space of The Hearth.

This unique workshop is all about celebrating vulval diversity and breaking down the taboos that too often surround it. In a gentle, guided and empowering environment, you’ll create a cast of your vulva to take home; your body as art.

What to expect?

💫 DIY vulva casting (yes, really!) — You’ll create a one-of-a-kind cast using high-quality, skin-safe materials (all provided). It's hands-on, creative, and surprisingly fun. You’ll leave with your finished cast, a personal piece of art made by you, about you.

💫 A safe, welcoming space — Think calm, cosy, and completely judgement-free. The casting process is non-exposing and done by you to you, with supportive guidance every step of the way. Privacy and comfort are always respected.

💫 A refreshingly real anatomy chat — We’ll kick things off with a clear, down-to-earth look at vulval anatomy, paired with some myth-busting around what’s “normal” (spoiler: everything is).

💫 A conversation about stigma, shame, and celebration: Let’s talk openly about the stories we’ve been told about our bodies and start rewriting them. This is about shifting from shame to appreciation.

💫 A guided moment to tune into your body: Before we cast, we’ll take a little time to slow down and connect inward — nothing too woo-woo, just a gentle check-in to ground and centre.

💫 A complimentary drink on us — Your ticket includes one drink from The Hearth’s bar, with more available to purchase if you’d like to keep the good vibes flowing.

Practical bits:
🔹 This is a non-invasive, non-exposing process - privacy and personal comfort are fully respected
🔹 A long T-shirt or dress is recommended if you’d like more coverage
🔹 Trimming or removing pubic hair is advised for a clearer casting result, but entirely optional
🔹 You’ll leave with your cast on the day

As both a practising Midwife and the founder of Viva La Vulva Casting, my ethos is rooted in the belief that women deserve to feel empowered, informed, and in control of their bodies, their choices, and their lives. Viva La Vulva Casting serves as a creative and educational platform dedicated to breaking down stigma, celebrating female anatomy, and sparking essential conversations around body autonomy, identity, and self-worth.
