What happens when you stop living the life you thought you were supposed to live?
Join debut novelist Claire Yick and Karinne Faddy of Resonates Within for an intimate fireside chat celebrating Free Fall Found, a novel about taking the leap into the unknown.
Inspired by Claire’s own travels and reinvention, the story follows Lina, who packs two suitcases, a duffel bag and a dream, leaving her job behind for a one-way ticket across three continents. Told through a series of voice notes, it’s a journey of choosing freedom, falling back in love with life and finding herself.
Together, we will explore what it takes to step into the unknown, challenge expectations and choose a different path. Whether it’s booking your first solo trip, leaving a dead-end job or finally ending that toxic relationship, sometimes the hardest part is taking the first step.
The door is open. You just have to step through it.

Author
Claire Yick is a London-based writer, environmental lawyer and sustainability consultant. Her own unconventional path has taken her across continents and through several chapters of reinvention. Her travels inspired Free Fall Found, her debut novel published independently through Citrus Zest Publishing. Claire believes sometimes getting lost is the first step towards finding yourself.
