About The Event
Want to bring something truly special to your Christmas mantel? A handmade stocking with a story already stitched in will be treasured for years to come.
Come home to The Hearth this winter and join Kelly, founder of Club Betty, for a fun and festive workshop. In this creative workshop, you will learn the basics of blanket stitch and sew your own Christmas stocking from vintage wool blankets.
Start with a blanket stitch demonstration, followed by step-by-step guidance as you bring your stocking together.
Then it’s time to make it your own. Choose from a selection of fun embellishments to customise your design, from buttons and ribbon to pom-poms and more.
All materials will be provided, and by the end of the workshop you’ll take home a beautiful handmade stocking, ready to hang. And hopefully the desire to keep stitching!
