Welcome to Fem Soc, a welcoming circle dedicated to empowerment, education and solidarity in our quest for gender equality. Each session we delve into a different subject in contemporary feminist discourse to discuss and dissect. Guiding readings will be shared ahead of the session, and you’re welcome to research the subject more broadly — a pluralism of perspectives are welcome.

AI isn't just sorting data it’s embedding historical gender biases into the code of our future. When the algorithms shaping society are trained on flawed, male-default datasets, technology scales prejudice under the guise of mathematical objectivity. Join us as we unpack the realities of data bias. We’ll discuss how data gaps distort everything from healthcare to automated decision-making. How do we ensure that the future is built on accurate, inclusive reality, rather than a coded echo chamber?
